Padfoot
Padfoot was a baby orphan that was luckily found after his mom was killed by a coyote. He is now 2 years old, has been neutered and is doing great! He requiries a family that is devoted to the upkeep of his coat, he requires regular brushing and clipping to prevent mats. He doesn't tolerate rabbit pellets so he's on a strict diet of hay and fresh veggies only (with the occassional piece of fresh fruit as a treat). Padfoot doesn't like other rabbits but is ok with rabbit savvy dogs and cats. Padfoot is a grumpy guy who will scratch and occasionally bite. He doesn't like to be picked up. He has good litterbox manners as long as his litterbox is attached to his cage and he can't move it.
Piper
Piper is a sweet wee girl... she is white with black spots and has a great attitude. She is about a year old and has good potty manners. She is not spayed yet but will be shortly.
She likes to be cuddled and held and likes to sit with you on the couch and watch the world go by.
She is really good with my kids and we have no problems with her and the cats interacting, she is a bit leary of our dog Chloe ..but Chloe is a BIG golden with a need to clean anything smaller than a cat.
Piper was an owner surrender.
Rabbits are very misunderstood creatures, so please make sure you do a lot of research to make sure a rabbit is the right pet for you! They are a 8-12 year commitment! Our favorite website is http://www.rabbit.org
Please get in touch with us if you are interested in adopting Piper!
Thistle
Thistle is an adult female salt & pepper hedgehog. She is a bit overweight probably due to lack of exercise in her previous home (wheel was too small). Otherwise in good condition.
Thistle is not well socialized and takes a long, long time to start warming up to the foster family. She doesn't unroll quite yet. To get a picture we had to sneak up to her and take it through the cage while she was running in her wheel. We hope to have better pics soon once she starts warming up more to the foster family.
She needs a home with an experienced, patient hedgehog guardian.
Please note: Due to the regulations of US Customs, we unfortunately are not able to adopt hedgehogs to homes in the US.
Mario
Mario is an approx. 1 year old standard grey chinchilla. He is a total sweetheart.
